Today I am inviting you to enjoy your day along with my blog, with a very nice tag that I've seen these days on the beauty blogs. It is called ”The Beauty Scenario Tag” and, as always, I wanted to share it with you.
Let's begin with the questions!
1. You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high-end and one drugstore, which one will you keep?
I am not a bigger fan of foundations, but, nevertheless, there are a few bottles in my vanity. My favorite is L'Oreal - True Match, a drugstore foundation which I love, it suits my skin very well and worked great even when I had my acne episode. I must confess that I do not have any high-end foundations, because I was very pleased with the drugstore alternatives, which are more accessible in terms of pricing. At one point, I was tempted to try the Double Wear from Estee Lauder, but I gave up. I want to mention though a foundation, this is a dermato-cosmetic one from La Roche-Posay - Toleriane Teint and I'm absolutely in love with it, I am planning to review it on the blog.
2. You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
As a lippie girl, I am affraid not to end up with my precious lipstick/lip gloss on my teeth, it is quite an embarassing situation, and, yes, it happended to me too. So, after the end of the interview, I would tell this lady that this is not something that I would make fun of her or bad intention, but I would explain the situation, even though I'm jeopardizing my possibility to obtain a job there. Talking about female solidarity here.
3. You're not feeling yourself and need a ”pick me up”. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?
I love all my lipsticks, ALL of them, even if they are from a well know brand or not, but my ultimate is the Glossy Stain from YSL in number 13 - Rose Tempura - I have never seen something like this, this lipstick is extraordinary.
4. You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?
Well, in my teenage years I remember that I wear bangs and did not suit me at all, so I would definitely give up wearing it. I did not wear makeup back them, I did not wear foundation, very rarely I wore mascara, I put seldom some eyeshadow, but I was wearing lipstick, and boy, I loved it and there is nothing to be changed about that.
5. You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixi cut. Do you:
a) Smile, say thank you, leave and call your mum hysterical?
b) Cry in the chair and things get awkward? or
c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund?
Now that would be quite a shock! I like to wear my hair on a medium length, it does suit me, makes me feel comfortable and gives me confidence. My one-time only mistake when I cut my hair right above my jaw line was at the beginning of the first highschool year and my mom recommended me to cut it, because it would be easely to maintain it. You know, new life, starting highschool. When I saw how much hair was on that salon's floor, I started to cry. Never repeatting this experience again. NO! NO! NO!
So, in this given situation I will complain to the manager asking for a refound. Then, I would try to accomodate myself with the new look, but certainly it will take a while.
6. Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which ”do it all” palette do you pack in your makeup bag?
Ooo, a city break sound so good! My darling, where are we going? Paris? L.A.? or perhaps, Transylvania?
On my on-the-run put together luggage I will definitely take one of my Too Faced - Glamour to Go palettes, it has everything you need: eyeshadows, lip glosses, a blush, a bronzer, even a highlighter, not to mention that it is so small, that you can put it in your pocket, I won't forget, of course, my face creams (the holy sunscreen!).
7. Your house has been robbed, don't worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?
I would be so glad to find out that my loved ones are safe, but speaking stricly about my cosmetics, I would be very upset to see that my lipstick collection has been devastated. I also would have been very sad to see that other of my makeup products were distroyed. As a matter of fact, it would be so sad to see any of my cosmetics distroyed or stolen. I know that the material stuff you can, let's say repurchase, but for me those things were beyond the material value, were part of my life, they told a story, they were part of unique moments that not all the money in the world can give it back to you. True cosmetics/makeup lovers know what I want to say.
8. Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you:
a) Just pretend you haven't noticed?
b) Ask them to repurchase it? or
c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs?
I don't like to borrow my makeup (anymore), it doesn't matter that I am talking here about my family or my closed friends. My makeup is mine. That's it! I don't have to talk here again about hygiene or other matters, it would be pointless to this discussion. Call me selfish, mean, whatever you like, but I did it in the past and I've learned my lesson now. I would rather preffer to buy a new product for that person who I would see that lusts for one of my cosmetics. Hypothetically speaking, just to answer to this question, I would ask my friend to buy me another makeup, to replace the damaged one, I would not accept it like that.

Bună tuturor! Să aveți parte de o Duminică frumoasă alături de cei dragi!
Mi-am propus astăzi să vă invit să vă relaxați cu un tag foarte drăguț pe care l-am tot văzut circulând pe bloguri zilele acestea, eu l-am văzut prima dată la Camelia - este vorba despre ”The Beauty Scenario Tag”, un tag care mie mi-a plăcut mult și am decis să-l împărtășesc cu voi.
Să începem cu întrebările!
1. Trebuie să te descotorosești de toate fondurile de ten pe care le deții și poți păstra doar unul de tip ”high-end” și unul de tip ”drugstore”. Care ar fi acestea?
Nu prea sunt un mare fan al fondurilor de ten, cu toate acestea, s-au adunat câteva sticluțe în sertarul cu cosmetice. Preferatul meu a fost și va rămâne cel de la L'Oreal - Accord Parfait un fond de ten de tip ”drugstore”, cu care m-am împăcat foarte bine chiar și atunci când am avut acel episod urât de acnee. Trebuie să recunosc că nu am niciun fond de ten de tip ”high-end”, deoarece am fost mulțumită de alternativele mai accesibile la preț și nu am fost tentată să investesc. Vroiam la un moment dat să încerc Estee Lauder - Double Wear, dar am renunțat. Dacă ar fi să menționez, aș menționa un fond de ten care aparține unui brand dermato-cosmetic și anume fondul de ten Toleriane Teint - La Roche-Posay de care sunt foarte mulțumită și pe care vreau să vi-l prezint și vouă mai în detaliu.
2. Te prezinți la un interviu iar doamna care te intervievează are ruj pe dinți. Cum procedezi? Îi spui sau ignori complet această situație?
Fiind o mare iubitoare a produselor pentru buze, marea mea frică e să nu mă trezesc cu ruj/luciu de buze pe dinți, e o situație foarte stânjenitoare, și, de ce să nu recunosc, mi s-a întamplat și mie. Așa că, după terminarea interviului, i-aș spune doamnei respective să mă scuze, nu e cu rea intenție, dar i-aș atrage atenția asupra acestei situații, cu toate că mi-aș pune în pericol șansa de a fi selectată, unii oameni nu știi niciodată cum iau lucrurile. Aș face-o, măcar din solidaritate feminină.
3. Nu te simți prea bine și simți nevoia de ceva care să te anime. Care este acel ruj care odată aplicat te face să te simți minunat?
Îmi iubesc toate rujurile din colecție, absolut toate, fie că sunt brand-uri mai puțin cunoscute sau brand-uri de renume, dar un ruj care m-ar scoate ”și din morți”, cum spune românul este Glossy Stain-ul de la YSL eu am nuanța 13 - Rose Tempura - nu am mai întâlnit încă ceva asemănător, e un ruj extraordinar.
4. Te întorci în timp pe vremea adolescenței. Ce ai schimba la părul tău sau la machiajul purtat atunci?
În adolescență îmi aduc aminte că purtam breton, nu mă prea avantaja, așa că dacă aș avea posibilitatea, aș renunța cu siguranță la el. Nu prea obișnuiam să-mi fac machiaje, nu-mi aplicam fond de ten, mascara foarte rar, farduri de ochi la fel de rar, ce foloseam mai des era rujul și nu am niciun fel de regret în această privință.
5. Îți rogi coafeza să îți facă o tunsoare până la umeri, gen Pixie Lott, însă ea aude greșit și îți face o tunsoare pixi. Ce faci?
a) Zâmbești, mulțumești, ieși din coafor, după care îți suni mama și faci o criză de isterie?
b) Începi să plângi pe scaunul de la coafor și lucrurile iau o întorsătură ciudată? sau
c) Te plângi managerului și-i ceri să-ți returneze banii?
Cred că aș avea un șoc. Îmi place să port părul de o lungime medie, mă avantajează, mă face să mă simt confortabil, îmi dă încredere. Am făcut o singură mare greșeală de a-mi tăia părul scurt, cam până la nivelul maxilarului, atunci când am mers în clasa a 9 - a, zicea mama că îmi va fi mai ușor să-l întrețin și când, am văzut la coafor atâta păr pe jos am început să plâng. Nu mai fac această greșeală niciodată. NU! NU! NU!
Așa că, în situația dată m-aș plânge managerului și i-aș cere banii înapoi. Aș încerca pe urmă să mă acomodez cu noua tunsoare, deși mi-ar lua ceva timp.
6. Prietenul tău te surprinde cu o mini-vacanță de 4 zile (”city break”) și ai la dispoziție doar o oră să împachetezi. Care este acea paletă ”bună la toate” pe care o pui în portfard?
Hmmm, ce bine sună o mini-vacanță! Unde mergem dragul meu? Paris? L.A.? sau poate ... Maramureș?
Fiind un bagaj încropit pe fugă aș alege să iau cu mine una din paletuțele de la Too Faced - Glamour to Go - o paletuță micuță de încape în buzunar, dar cu toate cele necesare: farduri, luciuri de buze, iluminator, bronzer și desigur, nu aș uita nici cremele mele de față (sfânta protecție solară!).
7. Casa ta a fost jefuită, nu-ți face griji, toată lumea este ok, dar cosmeticele tale au fost devastate. Care este acel produs pe care speri să-l găsești în siguranță?
M-aș bucura să stiu că cei dragi sunt bine, dar strict vorbind despre produsele mele cosmetice, aș fi foarte supărată să văd că mi-a fost distrusă colecția de rujuri, evident. Aș mai fi supărată și dacă alte produse de machiaj ar fi distruse, precum paletele de machiaj. Sau să văd că orice alt produs cosmetic a fost devastat sau furat. Știu că lucrurile materiale se mai pot recupera, dar acele lucruri au deja pentru mine o valoare sentimentală, în ele sunt impregnante momente de viață, clipe unice, pe care nimeni nu ți le mai poate da înapoi, nici toți banii din lume.
8. Îi împrumuți prietenei tale câteva produse de machiaj și ti le returnează într-o stare deplorabilă. Ce faci?
a) Te prefaci că nu ai văzut?
b) O rogi să ți le recumpere?
c) Te răzbuni în secret și îi plătești cu aceeași monedă?
Nu îmi place să (mai) împrumut produse de machiaj nimănui, nici familiei, nici prietenilor apropiați. Produsele mele de machiaj sunt ale mele. Punct. Nu mai vorbesc aici despre igienă și alte cele, e desuet. Numiți-mă egoistă, rea, cum vreți voi, dar sunt pățită din acest punct de vedere și mi-am învățat lecția. Dacă cineva drag a pus ochii pe un produs de machiaj pe care eu îl dețin, prefer să-i cumpăr unul nou și astfel să-i fac o bucurie, decât să i-l împrumut. Ipotetic vorbind, ca să răspund la întrebare, aș ruga-o pe prietena mea să-mi cumpere acele produse, nu aș accepta să le primesc înapoi.
