Nu cred că mai există persoană pe lumea aceasta care să nu fi auzit de brandul Clinique. Eu, una știu doar cât îmi doream să încerc produsele lor. Nu vreau să credeți că la mine acasă este un fel de ”corn al abundenței” în ceea ce privește cosmeticele, am deopotrivă produse care sunt scumpe (în comparație cu veniturile noastre, din țară), dar și produse foarte ieftine, pentru buzunarul oricărei persoane. Testând produse cosmetice de-a lungul timpului, am constatat că scump nu înseamnă neapărat calitate, la fel cum ieftin, nu înseamnă neapărat mediocru.
Cu siguranță toate am trecut printr-un sentiment asemănător: acela de ”a ți se pune pata” pe un produs pe care trebuie să-l încerci, fie pentru că brandul vorbește de la sine, fie că te-a cucerit o reclamă, fie că ți-a povestit cea mai bună prietenă despre cât de încântată este de el.
Dorința mea s-a îndeplinit atunci când o prietenă din State a reușit să-mi cumpere 2 produse de îngrijire a tenului din gama ”3-Step Skin Care” din magazinul on-line al brandului. Este vorba despre săpunul facial lichid delicat (pasul 1) și loțiunea tonică (pasul 2). Crema hidratantă de la pasul 3 nu am mai achiziționat-o, deoarece nu doream să renunț la crema pe care o foloseam atunci. Totul m-a costat 40 usd.
Despre loțiunea tonică vă voi vorbi azi. Produsul vine ambalat într-un flacon de 200 ml și are termen de valabilitate de 24 de luni.
I don't believe that there is a person on the earth that did not hear about Clinique. Personally, I know just how much I wanted to try their products. I do not want you to think that my house is a place where you can find an abundance of cosmetics, I have in the same time products that are expensive, high-end products (compared to the revenues in my country), but I also have very cheap products that anyone can afford. After some years of testing cosmetics, I've found that expensive does not necessarily mean quality, as well as cheap does not mean mediocre.
I am 100% sure that, at some point in our lives, all we went through a similar feeling: the one when you desperately want to try a product, that you must buy it, simply because the brand speaks for itself, whether you saw it in a tempting advertisement or that your best friend bragged excited about it.
One day, my wish came true when a friend from the States was able to buy for me, 2 of the Clinique's skin care products from the "3-Step Skin Care" range, from the brand's online store. She managed to buy me the gentle/mild liquid facial soap ( from step 1) and the clarifying lotion/toner (from step 2). The moisturizer from step 3, I've decied not to purchase, because I did not want to give up using my daily moisturizer.
Today, I will present you the clarifying lotion. This product comes packaged in a 200 ml bottle/ 6.7 FL.OZ.LIQ. and it is valid for 24 months.
Ingrediente/ Ingredients:
WATER, ALCOHOL DENAT, HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA (WITCH HAZEL), GLYCERIN MENTHOL, SODIUM BICARBONATE, EXT. VIOLET 2 (CI 60730), RED 33 (CI 17200), RED 6 (CI 15850).

Părerea pe care vi-o voi împărtăși vine în urma unui perioade de mai bine de 1 an de folosire. Ce pot să vă spun este că pe cât de nerăbdătoare am fost să testez aceste produse, pe atât de dezamăgită am rămas de această loțiune tonică.
Ambalajul nu este unul tocmai practic. Mi-ar fi plăcut să aibă pompiță sau cel puțin un dop care să dozeze mai bine cantitatea de produs eliberată. De multe ori am pățit ca atunci când mă pregăteam să aplic produsul, să-mi cadă surplus de lichid de pe dischetă în chiuvetă, fie mi se impregna o cantitate prea mare de produs pe dischetă, fie prea puțină.
Deși, pe ambalajul flaconului este specificat că acest produs este ”100% fără parfum”, ei bine, aici eu am avut o mare problemă. Produsul miroase puternic a ... spirt. Nu mi-a venit să cred acest lucru! Preferam mai bine să miroase a ceva parfum, decât așa. Inițial, m-am gândit că o fi ceva trecător, dar m-am înșelat. Nu cred că a fost zi în care am aplicat loțiunea pe față, să nu strănut sau să nu-mi dea lacrimile de la acest miros.
Eu obișnuiam să integrez acest produs într-o rutină bine stabilită: dimineața îmi spălam tenul cu săpunul delicat facial lichid Clinique, aplicam apoi loțiunea tonică exfolianță, iar la final aplicam cremă hidratantă. Textura este una lichidă, produsul e de culoare mov deschis pe discheta demachiantă.
După cum vă spuneam mai sus, atunci când aplicam acest produs pe față eram foarte deranjată de miros și aveam tot felul de reacții adverse: strănut, ochi roșii, trebuia să deschid imediat geamul la baie să iau aer curat (asta dacă nu era deja deschis). După ce aplicam această loțiune pe față, nu simțeam mici furnicături așa cum anunță producătorul în mod oficial, mă ustura toată fața și eram roșie. Într-adevăr curăța fața, mai elimina din impuritățile pe care săpunul facial nu reușea să le îndepărteze, tenul rămânea fin, dar uscat, dar și mă ardea fața de numai. Noroc cu crema hidratantă pe care o aplicam după. Atunci când am început să folosesc acest produs nu aveam probleme cu coșurile așa cum am acum, aveam tenul normal spre uscat și câteva coșuri răzlețe și tot mă ustura fața. De când am început să am probleme cu coșurile, credeți că am mai putut să aplic loțiunea pe față? Nici vorbă!
Îmi venea să arunc acest produs la coșul de gunoi, dar m-am abținut și am continuat să-l folosesc, deoarece îmi părea rău de banii cheltuiți. Că de, rabdă baba la frumusețe! (NU faceți ca mine!)
Setul de 2 produse m-a costat undeva la 40 usd, însă această loțiune am văzut-o în Sephora la peste 100 de ron.
The opinion that I will share with you comes after a period of more than one year of use. What I can tell you is that, the more anxious I was to test these products, the more disappointed I was with this clarifying lotion.
The packaging is not very practical. I would love to have a pump or at least a plug for a better dosage of the product's quantity. It
often happened that when I was preparing to apply the product on my face, the excess
of liquid fell out in the sink, or my cotton pad was impregnated with too much product, or, on the contrary, a small amount.
Although on the product's package it is mentioned that this product is "100% Fragrance Free," well, here I had a big problem. The product smells strongly of ... alcohol. I could not believe it! I would rather preffer to smell like a fragrance, that like alcohol. Initially, I thought it was just a phase, but I was wrong. I do not think it was one day not to sneeze or not to start crying from the smell, when I applied this clarifying lotion on my face.

I used to integrate this product in a well-established routine: in the morning I was washing my face with the mild liquid facial soap from Clinique, then I was applying this clarifying lotion, and in the end I was applying moisturizer. The texture of this product is a liquid one, and on the cotton pad it turns in light purple.
As I said above, when I was applying this product on my face, I was very much disturbed by the smell and had all kind of reactions: sneezing, red eyes, I had to open immediately the bathroom's window to get some fresh air (in case that it was not already open ). After I applied this clarifying lotion on my face, I did not feel any tingles as the manufacturer officially announced, the sensation was that my face felt like burning and I was all red. Indeed, this product really cleans my face, manages to remove some of the impurities that facial soap failed to remove, my skin remained soft, but dry, and my face was burning every time. Luckly I was applying moisturizing cream after. When I start using this product, I had no problems with pimples as I have now, I had normal to dry skin and few pimples here and there. Since I've started to have problems with pimples, you think I could put this product on my face? No way!
I wanted to throw this product away, in the trash, but I've changed my mind and I continued to use it, because I felt sorry for the money spent. Oh well, what we don't endure for beauty! (DON'T act like I did!)
The set of 2 products was 40 usd.

Am rămas foarte dezamăgită de acest produs și nu intenționez să-l mai cumpăr pe viitor.
Vă rog să nu mă înțelegeți greșit! Dacă acest produs nu mi-a priit, nu înseamnă că alte produse Clinique nu m-ar ajuta. Săpunul facial delicat și-a făcut treaba destul de bine, drept urmare acum sunt la al 2 -lea flacon. Dacă doriți, aș putea să-i fac și acestuia un review.
I was very disappointed by this product and I do not intend to buy it in the future.
Please don't get me wrong! If this product wasn't good for my skin, this does not mean that other Clinique products won't help. As a metter of fact, the mild liquid facial soap does a pretty good job and now I'm at my second bottle. If you would like, I could review it.
